Have you ever thought about running for office? We think you have what it takes!

You don’t need to be rich, experienced, or politically savvy. You just need a passion to be involved in your community and serve the residents of Delaware. We’re hosting a free workshop at Sussex County Democratic Headquarters located at 21141 Sterling Ave, Georgetown, DE 19947 on February 10th from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Register now at https://mailchi.mp/8344f1992953/how-to-run-for-office

Come join an open discussion in a safe space for newcomers to learn from experts like Kerri Evelyn Harris, Leslie Ledogar, and Erik Schramm.

These experienced community members can prepare you to run for office by giving you a heads up on exactly what’s involved and a roadmap for success in your campaign. Find out about everything from filing to run, all the way up to election day.

Why should you run for office?

  • You can have a chance to make your vision for your community a reality.

  • You can serve the people of Delaware in a meaningful way from an elected position.

  • You can make the impact locally that you desire.

  • Run for a paid position and get compensated for your hard work serving the people of The First State.

All are welcome - campaign managers, volunteers, candidates.
